Transform Your Health with Healthy Habits Coaching

My name is Dawn Hurtado.  I am a Certified Nutrition Coach. As a certified Nutrition Coach, with a focus on empathy and compassion,  I help people build lasting habits by using the science of nutrition and the art of behavior-change coaching. 
 

I’m on a mission to inspire people to live their best lives by creating Healthy Habits that can be sustained for a lifetime.  I am passionate about educating people on losing or maintaining weight, reducing fatigue, increasing energy levels and improving your relationship with food and the dreaded scale. 
 

I offer a personalized approach that focuses on progress, not perfection.  Creating new habits takes time and patience.  My goal is to help you uncover obstacles to behavior change.  This is a collaboration and I am committed to helping you implement the necessary changes needed in order for you to achieve your goals.  I look forward to celebrating your successes with you and becoming a trusted partner in your health and wellness journey.

My qualifications include PN Level 1 Nutrition Coach.  And am currently enrolled in the PN Level 2 Masters Program with an expected completion date of April 2024. 

 

My own experience with the struggle of weight loss and maintenance motivated me to learn more about nutrition.  What I quickly learned, by hiring my own coach, was that you cannot outrun a less than optimal diet.  I am a former Crossfit Athlete and Olympic Weight Lifter.  I am also a Certified Fletcher Pilates Teacher.  And currently training for a body building competition in the Spring of 2024. Learning about nutrition has changed my life and I am confident that I can help others on their journey.
